Summer Challenge 2025
Dear AIS Families of rising 6th-10th graders,
As we head into summer, we’re excited to offer a range of summer learning opportunities designed to keep our MYP students engaged, curious, and growing—all while honoring their individual interests and learning styles.
Our approach this summer is intentionally broad and flexible. Students will have the freedom to explore topics that matter to them, and the choice in how they demonstrate their learning—whether through writing, creating, building, designing, or presenting. These options are meant to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and help students build confidence in their voice.
We recognize that each child is unique, and our goal is to provide meaningful learning experiences that are both relevant and enjoyable. Whether your child wants to dive deeper into a subject they love or try something completely new, we hope they’ll find an option that inspires them.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to a summer of exploration and learning!
To receive recognition for their participation, students will:
- Work individually or collaboratively on a project
- Complete a product/evidence demonstrating each selected activity.
- Submit activities on the first day of school: August 27, 2025.
- Earn prizes for your participation!
Note: We hope ALL students will find a way to stay engaged in learning over the summer. Participation will NOT count toward the student’s grade at the start of the school year.
In order to be eligible for a prize, students MUST submit evidence of learning on the first day of school; August 27, 2025.
