Summer Reading Information 2018:

Hello MLC Families! Summer reading packets were distributed to students in early June. Electronic versions of these packets are available here:

Grade 6 packet

Grade 7-8 packet

High School packet

Students should read as much as they can this summer, and can choose what they want to read: novels, short stories, graphic novels, nonfiction texts, magazine articles…even audio books will work for this!

In addition, please note that any reading done as research for any of the following projects or assignments can be “counted” toward summer reading:

  • Personal Project (incoming 10th grade);
  • CAS (incoming 11th and 12th grade);
  • Extended Essay (incoming 12th grade);
  • Senior Project (incoming 12th grade);
  • Any summer work, as assigned by teachers (high school)
